I’m Victoria Delasalle, founder of Delasalle Saddlery. Horses have been my life from the start, and that passion drives everything I do. As an SMS‑qualified saddle fitter with specialist flocking credentials, I focus on keeping horses comfortable and riders confident.
I work closely with vets, physios, and other professionals to make sure every horse‑and‑rider combination performs at its best. I was honoured to be named Equine Fitter of the Year 2024 by the BETA Equine Fitters Council.

I’m Ellie Delasalle, an SMS‑qualified saddle fitter with specialist flocking skills. I handle everything from repairs to full strip‑and‑reflocks, and I even craft my own leather products.Horses have been part of my life forever, and I’m excited to grow in the industry and make the most of this opportunity alongside my mum, Vicki.

Services
Correctly fitted tack is essential for ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for both you and your horse. Properly fitting equipment not only enhances comfort but also helps maintain horse's well-being during rides.
Saddle Fitting and Saddle checks
A poorly fitting saddle can make your horse uncomfortable and cause pain, pressure points or lameness. It can also be uncomfortable for the rider and unbalance them or cause them pain.
Weight gain or loss, the amount or type of work they do, the age of your horse and the time of year can all have an impact on your horse’s size and shape and therefore the way their saddle fits.
It is important to get your horse’s saddle checked at least twice a year.
Fairfax Bridle Fitting
Riders are now much more aware about the importance of bridle fit and how it can impact their horse’s comfort, welfare and performance.
Everything you do down the reins is felt by the horse through the bit, which is why it is important to have the bridle correctly fitted.
Flocking, Adjustments & Repairs
As your horse changes shape, we make sure your saddle changes with them, along with replacement girth straps and other repair work to your leather items.
